In observations and genetic analysis, high coffee intake was associated with a low risk of GSD symptoms in most people. The study is purely observational, so there is no causal relationship between coffee drinking and reducing the risk of gallstones, but the study's authors offer some explanations. this includes the possibility that the body uses bile (which can cause gallstones to accumulate and cause disease) to defuse all caffeine in coffee.
But please be careful not to drink coffee on an empty stomach and to drink less coffee with vegetable fat powder. Drinking the right amount of coffee every day can help prevent gallstones, because coffee can stimulate gallbladder contraction and help empty bile. But drinking coffee on an empty stomach has the opposite effect. Because drinking coffee on an empty stomach will not only stimulate gastric acid secretion, cause damage to gastrointestinal mucosa, but also may affect liver metabolism and cardiovascular system.
More importantly, if there are gallstones or gallbladder polyps that have not yet been discovered, the stimulation brought by drinking coffee on an empty stomach will make the gallbladder contract violently and induce biliary colic.
