Nicaragua's winning cup returned to the country after an one-year truce, providing a total of 249 cups of coffee (of which 74% were produced for the first time). At this year's Expo, 17 cups of coffee won the Outstanding Cup, and 12 cups of coffee were awarded the national championship. The coffee with the highest score won the presidential award of 91.2 points. The award-winning producers are excited about the results and look forward to the results of the international auction on July 16.

To continue to support this year's coffee growers, the Excellence Cup project has expanded its traditional meetings in producing areas. This year's Excellence Cup and the National Cup winners' Cup won coffee from five regions of Nicaragua. Review the 17 cups of coffee that won the Excellence Award, including seven varieties, of which the top five coffees are all Malacatur. The twelve coffees selected by the national winners include nine organically certified coffees and eleven coffees from the first production.
At the remote awards ceremony and press conference held on June 3, Nicaragua's domestic partner CONATRADEC also signed a contract for the Nicaragua 2021 Cup of Excellence program.
