How about Shanghai Robot Cafe? coffee brewing time in fully automatic intelligent coffee shop
The unmanned Cafe is back.
During the recent May Day event, a "mobile intelligent cafe" appeared in the Shanghai International Fashion Center.
It is said that this coffee shop is also an "unmanned cafe", which has attracted the attention of many consumers.
The in-store barista is a steel robotic arm. Consumers can scan the QR code to enter a "Botai Mobile Intelligent Caf é" to Mini Program to get the menu in the cafe.
A pick-up code is automatically generated after Mini Program places an order, and the consumer simply scans it at the scan box in the window, and the machine "barista" is instructed to start work.
Menu options include American, latte, vanilla latte, etc., all done by the in-store barista, a steel robotic arm.
This steel robotic arm is mainly responsible for controlling the coffee production process, such as moving the coffee cup to the bottom of the coffee machine, and so on. To put it simply, the barista robotic arm can accurately complete the production of a cup of coffee. In terms of time, it takes only two minutes to start making coffee and sending it to consumers to make a cup of iced American coffee.
It is understood that the mobile smart cafe made its debut at this year's Shanghai International Auto Show.
In April this year, an exhibit of "PATEO Mobile Intelligent Caf é" appeared on the booth of "Intelligent Black Super Technology" in Shanghai International Auto Show No. 7. The whole design process of the exhibit adopts the design and development strategy and method of "four-chain integration, seven-step innovation". The "barista" robotic arm of the intelligent mobile cafe can automate the whole process of coffee.
However, long before this, barista robots have been introduced in many places across the country, especially in the case of the sudden outbreak of COVID-19 last year, contactless barista delivery robots have become a new fashion.
In June 2019, TOUCH-AND-GO COFFEE, a new unmanned coffee shop in Japan, attracted everyone's attention.
From the outside, there is nothing special about this cafe, except that it orders on a mobile phone, and there are no baristas or coffee bars in the cafe. The service in the store is fully automated. Customers can order their own coffee on their mobile phone in advance, and then pick it up from the unmanned locker in the designated place.
In May 2020, South Korea launched the world's first 24-hour "unmanned" cafe, Storant.
Similarly, in this cafe, the coffee robot independently completes the whole coffee production process, including a series of processes from coffee ordering to production and distribution. Consumers place orders on their own, under the robotic arm of the robot barista. You can operate the coffee machine and other equipment like a normal person. When the consumer places an order, the coffee robot will remind the customer that "hot drinks are being distributed" after making coffee within two minutes. Please be careful not to give way when you walk around.
In addition, in early October last year, a robot barista ran a whole coffee booth at the Dragon Dream Shopping Center in Zhongshan Park in Shanghai, which attracted many consumers to watch because of its novel appearance. Although the cafe covers an area of only 2.5 square meters, it solves a series of production processes that daily baristas have to face, and greatly shortens the production time. The robot barista makes a cup of coffee in between 30 seconds and 1 minute.
On April 23 this year, even Nai Xue, one of the well-known new tea beverage brands in China, introduced an intelligent device, the "Ruying" coffee pull robot, which can complete the whole process from coffee making to flower drawing in only 90 seconds, and can continuously output about 300 to 500 cups of high-quality flower coffee every day.
In fact, at a time when the whole coffee industry has been moving forward, coffee robots are becoming more and more intelligent and more independent and efficient to complete the whole coffee production process, which also means that this "progressive" model will be introduced more and more in the future. perhaps it may also become a popular trend in the future, after all, the market is rapidly changing. Of course, at present, the use of "unmanned cafes" or "robot baristas" is still very small.
But the signal from the emergence of "unmanned cafes" or "robot baristas" is worth thinking about: when more and more robots appear in our daily lives, when the whole process of coffee is automated, robot baristas may not be able to completely replace baristas, but robot baristas may be able to change the traditional coffee industry, and when more and more coffee robots appear. Whether baristas will face unemployment in the future has also become the focus of attention.
