The news also pointed out that the planned capital raised by Naxue is about US $600m, and based on its 15 per cent share issue, it is expected to be valued at about US $4 billion, or about HK $31 billion.

It is understood that on February 11 this year, Nai Xue's tea has submitted a prospectus on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with JPMorgan Chase, China Bank International and Huatai International as its co-sponsors. This action shows that Nai Xue's tea has officially rushed to IPO.

Tea brand Nai Xue, which was founded in 2015 at that time, also responded to the use of IPO to raise funds: first, to expand the company's tea shop network and increase market penetration in the next three years; second, to further digitize the overall operation to improve operational efficiency by enhancing technical capabilities; and third, to enhance the company's supply chain and channel building capacity to support scale expansion. Fourth, it is used for working capital and for general enterprise purposes.

According to public data, Nai Xue's tea, founded in 2015, is headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, and belongs to Shenzhen Pindao Food and Beverage Management Co., Ltd. the first store opened in Shenzhen in November 2015. at the beginning of its establishment, it mainly won the hearts of young women between the ages of 20 and 35 in the form of "tea + soft European bag".

According to SkyEye check information, Naixue's tea has so far completed five rounds of financing, of which after the C round of financing at the beginning of this year, Naixue's tea was valued at nearly $2 billion (about 13 billion yuan).

With the support of Tiantu Investment, Shenzhen Venture Capital, HLC and Tai Meng Investment, Nai Xue Tea has 420 + tea stores in 61 cities of Chinese mainland on September 30, 2020. By February 2021, the total number of tea stores in Nai Xue will be 550. among them, Nai Xue opened 180 new tea stores in 2020, an increase of 55% over the same period last year.

In November last year, Nai Xue's tea launched a new store type-PRO store, and the first PRO store opened in Shenzhen.

As a new store model, Nai Xue's tea has a new look in store design and products, of which, the most special is that Nai Xue's tea has added a new category-boutique coffee drinks.

The PRO store defines coffee as daily boutique coffee and selects Arabica beans professionally matched by the master team. there are seven choices in coffee types, including American coffee, lattes, etc., including oatmeal lattes and the recently popular Ice Bock lattes, which now account for about 20% of sales.

Naixue's tea plans to open about 200 Naxue PRO in 2021. At present, most of Naixue's tea PRO stores are mainly online orders, and takeout pick-up points are also set up in the store. Naixue hopes to achieve 80% digital, automatic process and mechanized production in the future. At present, Naixue's tea has introduced a flower-pulling robot in the PRO store, which can complete the whole process from coffee making to flower-drawing in 90 seconds. It can continuously output about 300 to 500 cups of high-quality broccoli coffee every day.

People in the industry predict that the scale of China's new tea market will reach 340 billion yuan by 2025, but because the entry threshold for the new tea industry is relatively low, the competition is also relatively fierce, and if Nai Xue's tea can be successfully listed, it will undoubtedly become the fastest dark horse in the new tea industry.
