On May 11, a company representing domestic Internet coffee announced that its retail business had completed millions of dollars in angel round financing at the end of last year.
The round of financing was led by Innovation Works, followed by star host Li Jing.

Coffee Box is a chain coffee brand, focusing on white-collar workers in first-tier cities in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. It was founded in 2014 by continuous entrepreneur and angel investor company commander (Wang Jiang). In the early stage, it was a coffee delivery platform with Weixin Official Accounts as the entrance, providing delivery services for Starbucks and other coffee brands. In August 2015, it began to transform into its own brand coffee Coffee Box. In 2017, Lian Coffee successively released 30 kinds of coffee drinks.
Up to now, 8 rounds of financing have been completed since its establishment in 2014.
According to Sky Eye information, Liancoffee retail is the retail business of Liancoffee, and a variety of prepackaged coffee products have been added along the two product lines of brewing and ready-to-drink, including fresh espresso coffee, bulletproof coffee, oatmeal latte and ear-hanging coffee. Even the WeChat private domain, chatter e-commerce, Tmall, EasyJet convenience store and other channels of coffee layout have achieved growth of more than 500% for several consecutive months.
Last year, the large-scale closure of domestic Internet coffee chain brand "Lian Coffee" attracted the attention of coffee industry personages nationwide. On September 8 of the same year, Lian Coffee released a message on the official Weixin Official Accounts saying: "Our stores have really been closed, and there is no plan to reopen temporarily." After that, the "hard restart" became the focus of everyone's attention.
After announcing the "hard restart return," Lian Coffee said: Different from the previous brand restart business, this return has made great changes in product form and channel. In the future, even coffee will be released as pre-packaged products. Weixin Official Accounts and Tmall flagship stores are their main shelves, and then other e-commerce channels will continue to be listed six times.
In terms of products, even coffee will include but not limited to capsules, concentrates, lyophilized powder, cold extract, bottled coffee and other products. In addition to Weixin Official Accounts and Mini programs in terms of channels, even coffee will also be distributed in Tmall, convenience stores, etc. The service scope will be expanded from North, Guangzhou and Shenzhen to the whole country, from the original WeChat single channel + narrow coverage of first-tier cities to full channel + multi-dimensional product coverage. After the new business is launched, even coffee will be fully upgraded to a coffee retail company.
In December of the same year, Lian Coffee announced a joint venture with Sinopec Yijie to jointly operate a new brand "Yijie Coffee". Yijie Coffee will launch a large-scale layout around more than 30,000 Sinopec gas stations.
Since then, even coffee has initially completed a new industrial layout for the future, and the completion of millions of dollars in financing also means that retail business will become one of the key directions of even coffee's next efforts.
