Starbucks winery Starbucks Chengdu Ocean Taiguri flagship store newly upgraded to introduce winery experience

On May 20, on this special day, Starbucks quietly made some small changes.

It is reported that Starbucks Zhenxuan Coffee Distillery Chengdu Ocean Taiguri flagship store ushered in a new upgrade on May 20.

As the only flagship store in Starbucks Midwest, the newly upgraded store has joined the Starbucks selection Coffee Bar Mixato innovative winery experience, thus better meeting the needs of the younger generation of "sighing coffee during the day and wine tasting at night". According to reports, the store is located 50 meters east of the original site.

Starbucks Zhenxuan Coffee Winery Chengdu Ocean Taiguri flagship store has a total of three floors. According to Xinhuanet, the external design of the store draws lessons from the most representative dry fence building in "Sichuan-style architecture". The design of the store is based on the inspiration of the three elements of soil, climate and altitude, while combining the local cultural elements of Chengdu.

In terms of products, it is also different from Starbucks' daily stores. Taiguri's second-floor winery also offers wine, craft beer and other drinks.

On January 22nd this year, Starbucks also added a Starbucks Zhenxuan Coffee Shop to its Starbucks stores in Chengdu. In this Starbucks Zhenxuan Coffee Restaurant, coffee is available on the first floor, while Bar Mixato on the second floor can also drink high-quality wine, craft beer, whisky and other drinks. At the same time, consumers can try more than 20 creative cocktails handmade on the spot.

In fact, Starbucks has been laying out "slightly tipsy" scenes in recent years.

In 2016, Starbucks, the world's largest coffee chain, launched alcoholic beverages in some stores in the United States; in December 2017, Starbucks tried to launch a combination of coffee and wine at Zhenxuan Roasters in Shanghai. Starbucks accelerated its Bar Mixato business after it opened a flagship store in Beijing in 2018, launched a number of alcoholic coffee drinks, and introduced a tavern in the cafe to extend the night experience in Starbucks Space 3, the first Starbucks cafe to incorporate alcohol.

In April 2019, Starbucks opened its first Starbucks Zhenxuan Coffee Distillery on the Bund in Shanghai. Starbucks combined "Zhenxuan Coffee" with "Bar Mixato" to launch a coffee + wine mix, providing consumers with a new experience of "slightly tipsy". In August of the same year, Starbucks rebuilt a brand new "Bar Mixato". In July 2020, Starbucks Bar Mixato launched a new series of special cocktails featuring coffee and tea.

So far, Starbucks has opened a number of Bar Mixato bars throughout the country, including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Wuhan and so on. According to the current development trend, Starbucks will open more Bar Mixato bars all over the country.
