What is the most expensive tea? What grade does Jasmine Dragon Ball belong to? How much per catty?
Technically speaking, tea aroma is a production process that naturally changes the aroma and taste of tea. This is because tea is hygroscopic (which means it absorbs water and aroma from its surroundings) although many people think that only low-grade teas are used to smell, there are also many exquisite high-grade teas, which are fragrant and highly valued (they are far from inferior or cheap teas). Fragrant tea is thought to have originated from the Chinese tea culture of the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). The influence of Mongolians on rich aroma and spicy food forced the subtle taste of palace tea to change. For centuries, Chinese people have attached great importance to scented tea and have been very popular in modern Chinese culture. What do you think is the most popular scented tea in the world? If you're guessing jasmine tea and Zhengshan race tea (sometimes called smoked tea, which we'll introduce in another journal article), you're right. Jasmine tea August is an important month for drinking jasmine tea. The best quality jasmine can be picked after mid-July. The best quality is processed with spring green tea to make high-quality jasmine green tea. During the summer months, jasmine flowers are picked early in the day (around 10:00) and kept cool to prevent them from blooming until evening. The best temperature to make the flowers bloom is between 32 ℃ and 36 ℃. If it is too cold, the flowers will close, too hot, the fragrance will disappear, and the flowers begin to degrade. When all the flowers are about 60%, put them on a large sieve and shake off the green buds and stems with your hands. In the process, the flowers will bloom further. When the flowers reach 80%, you can smell the fragrance of green tea. Although it is usually made from green tea, white tea, oolong tea and black tea are also used to make this tea. Fujian jasmine tea is the most precious; however, jasmine tea is also produced in Hunan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi and Vietnam in China. Then take the green tea from the final firing and put the freshly picked jasmine on the tea bed or tea pile. At night, jasmine flowers continue to bloom about 95-100% and release their fragrance. In the room, tea and jasmine are put together to make the tea have the taste of jasmine (taste + aroma). It takes four hours for jasmine leaves to absorb the required jasmine fragrance throughout the night. In this process, tea will absorb more water. Therefore, if the tea is laid on the flat ground, additional drying steps are required, although some manufacturers pile up the tea to reduce the amount of air contact with the tea.
In order to get a stronger aroma and taste, you can change the newly picked flowers several times or mix them with tea. The more flavoring, the more expensive the tea. For the most advanced jasmine tea, this flavoring process can be repeated 9 times! Jasmine pearl tea is handmade in the third generation family tea garden in Fujian Province, China. The production of this kind of tea is a time-consuming process, because in the spring, the newly sprouted tea is picked by hand, and then each leaf is manually rolled into pearls (a good roller can produce 1 kilogram a day) and has six fragrances. Depending on the use of flowers and tea, we think this is a perfect quantity, so that you can enjoy the tea without drinking perfume! Note: many different flowers can be used for the aroma of tea, the most famous is jasmine, however, rose, magnolia, lotus and gardenia are also used.
