Men release insects to touch porcelain, many milk tea shops sentenced to serious food safety problems in milk tea shops
The man was sentenced for "targeting" a well-known milk tea shop
From time to time, there will be hot searches on food safety and hygiene in tea shops. "True Spider" milk tea was launched on October 8th and used expired raw materials on September 30th. This type of food safety problems and apologies issued by the brand can be seen on Weibo every once in a while.
Today, there is another hot search for food safety in milk tea shops, but this time it is not the milk tea shop's own problem, but it has been touched by porcelain. At around 10 pm on Oct. 12, the official Weibo of Guangzhou Daily reported that a man had been prosecuted for racketeering on suspicion of extorting money from a well-known milk tea shop with worms.
According to Guangzhou Daily, the 23-year-old man, who used to work for a certain tea, left his job with a woman he met in the store in April 2020. The man loafed around after leaving his job and gradually ran out of money without income. Thinking of the business philosophy, internal operation and management methods of his old employer, he came up with the idea of making quick money.
At the end of September 2020, the man and his girlfriend caught a bug in a nearby park and put it in the cup after buying a drink worth more than 20 yuan at a "certain tea" in Gongshu district of Hangzhou, and blackmailed the store after filming videos and photos of bugs in the drink.
The man "instructed" his girlfriend to refuse the highest standard of food safety compensation of 1000 yuan, and put forward a compensation claim of 50, 000 yuan on the basis of brand reputation, which was finally received with 45000 yuan. Half a month later, the man targeted a "so-and-so tea" store in Hangzhou, but because he only got 1000 yuan, he turned his target back to "some tea".
From late November 2020 to early April 2021, the man and his friends repeated the old trick of "some tea" in Dongguan, Shenzhen and Guangzhou, once asking for 200000 yuan. At the end of April 2021, the man and his friends visited Shanghai and planned to do it again. As the previous deeds had aroused alarm, after the Shanghai store reported for instructions, the headquarters immediately reported the case to the public security organs.
In the comments left under the news, some netizens mentioned the big spider milk tea incident of October 8, suspected to be this kind of blackmail. After all, the spiders were so big that they could not be seen. Some netizens left comments under the message saying that although absurd, but not necessarily false, people have no time to take care of it when they are busy, and this may happen directly out of the cup and seal.
In the past, we only knew that the bad guys drank milk tea in the milk tea shop, but now unexpectedly, the guests drank the milk tea shop to "overdraft". Some brands of milk tea stores, in order to pursue the number of stores and sales, will ignore the most basic problems. On the other hand, some people understand the crooked brains and think that they will take food safety issues lightly.
If the seller does not pay attention to the most basic problems and does not do a good job in staff training, and the buyer wants to rely on the "crooked mind" to fetch the wool, forming a vicious circle. Everyone's intrigue will eventually make it impossible for the whole industry to rise. The man also made his life worse because of his "crooked mind", and his life became more and more decisive.
As ordinary consumers, all they want is a delicious and hygienic drink, not the compensation that looks like a good figure. If both sides are mutually beneficial and win-win, won't the world be a better place?
