What is French roasted coffee the difference between French, Italian and Spanish roasted coffee
If Western Europeans drink French roasted coffee, they may drink the darkest and richest coffee in the world. However, if we are at home, the idea of French baking may be unfamiliar to us. You may be asked whether you prefer light, medium or deep-roasted coffee, but regionalized nicknames such as French roasting.
Think of French barbecue as the fourth and highest category in the light, medium and dark quad. The name itself comes from the color of roasted coffee beans. French roasted coffee is the best roasted coffee bean. Many attempts have been made to measure this.
The American Fine Coffee Association has designed its scale to distinguish between roasted coffee by rating coffee in a range of 25 to 95, of which 95% is the lightest roast. French roasted coffee has a score of about 30, so it is really one of the blackest coffees that people can drink.
At the same time, it is also true that other types of coffee beans, such as Italian roasted coffee, are even more oily than French roasted coffee, and some people think that it or Spanish coffee is stronger than French roasted coffee. However, which one is the darkest depends on your own taste. But there is no doubt that, considering how many beans have been baked, it is difficult to tell the difference between them.
How to make French roasted coffee
In addition to the hassle of buying French roasted coffee, you can easily bake coffee beans at home using an oven, a roaster or a simple pan! You can even escape using popcorn like this, but be careful, and do not do it regularly, or Popper may break. After heating the beans in the container of your choice, the beans that were initially green will turn yellow when heated.
In about four minutes, two pops will be heard. The first crack indicates that the beans are expanding and the color is darkening. The iconic "second crack" heard in the process is a sign of a crack in the bean wall, causing the oil to rush to the surface.
At this stage, the internal temperature of the coffee beans rises to 464 degrees Fahrenheit. Heating them to a higher temperature will cause them to burn completely and pose a potential fire hazard. After hearing the second popping sound, wait another 30 seconds to 1 minute, and then cool the beans.
A long roasting process can lead to the loss of most, if not all, antioxidants and other healthy ingredients in coffee beans. Some studies have shown that lighter roasted coffee retains these beneficial chemicals. However, drinking deep-roasted coffee does not "hurt"!

It is important to note that although French roasted coffee tastes stronger and more bitter than other roasted coffee, it contains no less or more caffeine than other roasted coffee. However, the same weight of coffee, extracted from deep-roasted and lightly roasted coffee stacks, will contain different amounts of coffee beans. The former will have more coffee beans, because although caffeine is not lost during baking, other elements such as water are also lost, thus reducing the weight of coffee.
The deepest coffee roasting
There is no way out for French roasted coffee. This is to choose the dark side, but if you appreciate taste and consistency more and more, then there is nothing wrong with becoming dark in this respect! French roasted coffee is the fourth category of roasted coffee, as well as Italian and Spanish beans. This is a unique tasting coffee that does not retain the original flavor of the beans at all, which is why so many people are loyal to their French roasted coffee.
