Assam Tea Garden follows its own time.

Because India spans a wide range of longitudes and actually has multiple time zones, the northeast region usually receives the baptism of sunlight earlier. The Indian government has not taken any specific measures on the time zone, while Assam has used its own time zone for more than 150 years. The time zone has two names, "chai bagan time" and "tea garden time", which originated from the British colonial rulers.
