Starbucks joins hands with Bridge+ to open China's first shared office space coffee shop
On November 24, Starbucks China announced the official opening of the first "shared space concept store" in the mainland. Unlike the previous Starbucks decoration style, this concept store shows "incisively and vividly" the "third space" concept that Starbucks has adhered to for many years.
"shared Space concept Store" by Cade Group's flexible space and business community platform Bridge+ and Starbucks, located in the lobby on the first floor of the Raffles Plaza office building in Shanghai, creates a new type of multi-functional space for workers, extends shared office elements, and further strengthens the combination with coffee culture. According to Mr. Chen Yongming, CEO of Business Management of Cade Investment (China), "the Bridge+ GO lightweight shared meeting space launched by this Bridge+ and Starbucks is an attempt to carry out in-depth exploration, product optimization and experience upgrading based on the user group of common services."
Different from the previous Starbucks store decoration style, in addition to a relaxing sofa area and a short stay leisure area, the concept store has added an independent negotiation room, providing a private conference room for negotiators. it also provides an independent gathering space for coffee lovers. At the same time also set up a semi-open single office area, in order to busy office workers close to home work, relaxed and pleasant work environment.
There are three four-person negotiation rooms and one eight-person negotiation room in the store. Each negotiation room has an independent lighting and ventilation system, which can separately adjust the brightness and indoor temperature, while the separate deck is laid with soundproof cotton, which reduces the external noise while increasing the privacy of the space. Starbucks store designers have also added decorations that represent the flavor of coffee to the negotiation room, mostly plants, to ease the sense of pressure brought by the confined space.
Of course, these exclusive negotiation rooms are charged. If the small negotiation room is 50 yuan per hour, users can book the negotiation room on APP in advance or go directly to the store to scan the code. After the reservation is successful, the order can be booked through Starbucks APP, or the order can be scanned in the conference room. The barista will provide coffee and meal services to customers in the conference room.
On the other hand, the semi-open single office area is free, which is set up by the window, and the open field of vision means that customers will not feel depressed when they sit in the space. Hooks are set up under the desk in the area to facilitate customers to hang and pick up their bags / clothes; charging plugs are arranged at the corner of the desktop and wall; there are reading lights on the desk, and users can adjust the reading brightness that suits them. Most of the sofa leisure areas and short rest areas are equipped with sockets, and the long table positions are also equipped with reading lights, providing more personalized experiences for different customers.
Starbucks has always stressed the "third space", in the hope that every customer can get a respite in the busy life. Whether it is the light moving line, layout or space design, it is to provide consumers with a relaxed and pleasant, soothing spirit of the social space. This time, we will work together to fully consider the needs of mobile office workers, so that customers can enjoy the unique coffee atmosphere of Starbucks and at the same time a more comfortable and personalized office meeting environment. * Photo Source: Starbucks China
