Does the handle temperature of an espresso machine affect espresso extraction?
Generally speaking, the handle of the espresso machine extraction will be placed in any storage place near the coffee machine and will not be picked up until it needs to be extracted. At this time, the handle is in a state of normal temperature! But until yesterday when Qianjie was surfing and saw the WBC event a few years ago, Mr. Wu Zelin used a frozen handle to extract and concentrate, which aroused Qianjie's curiosity: will the temperature of the handle affect the concentrated extraction?
As it happens, another friend asked in front of the street: "does the handle need to be placed on the coffee machine to keep warm?"
So, driven by Qianjie's strong curiosity, he simply put the three handles directly on the normal temperature storage place, the low-temperature refrigerator and the high-temperature coffee machine to see whether the handles of these three different temperatures can extract espresso with different taste.
Use beans: "sunflower warm sun mix" (because it is the only one in Qianjie store) Coffee powder quantity: 20g extract weight: 40ml
The time of extraction and concentration by handle at room temperature is 29 seconds and the concentration temperature is 64 °C. It tastes with distinct flavors of butter cookies, vanilla and chocolate, with a hint of whisky and a hint of sweet and sour berries.
