Typica is one of the most important Arabica coffee varieties in the world. Iron pickup is a tall variety, which is characterized by low output, easy to suffer from major diseases, but good quality. After constant spread, iron pickups were planted in most coffee plantations in South and Central America in the 1940s.

However, due to the low production of iron pickups and their susceptibility to coffee diseases, iron pickups in many areas have been replaced by other varieties. At present, in the American region, there are Peru, Jamaica, Dominica and other countries are still growing iron trucks. Now, however, derivative varieties of iron pickups are also grown in some areas.

CARIPE, a professor at Oriental University in Calipe, Venezuela, Gustavo Bonafinapala, is one of the heads of Coffee No. 5 of the Venezuelan Ministry of Agriculture and breeding. During a regular visit to the coffee countryside, local farmers showed the person in charge that some of the iron pickup plants in the plantation were particularly productive. In 1958, the person in charge began selection programs and testing productivity on several farms. Then selected is Caripe, now an important regional variety in the northeastern Venezuelan state of Monaga.

New World (Mundo Novo) this variety was discovered in 1943 in Mineiros do Tiete, Sao Paulo, Brazil. It's a natural cross between bourbon and iron pickup. Because it was originally planted in the new world city (novo mundo), which is now Urupes. The variety has been dynamic and productive and has been distributed to Brazilian farmers since 1952. It is mainly grown in Brazil and other South American countries (including Peru), but rarely in Central America, mainly because farmers do not like being too large.

POP3303/21 the variety was selected from a survey of trees at plantations in the western city of Cyangugu in 1972. It is said that the plantation is full of blue mountain varieties, locally known as BMJ in Rwanda. The Blue Mountain variety was introduced into East Africa from Jamaica in 1894 through Nyasaland (Nyasaland, now Malawi). At that time, the only known species in Jamaica was the iron pickup, so POP3303/21 was thought to be related to the iron pickup. The variety was released by the Rwanda Agricultural Commission in 2003 and is used for commercial production in Rwanda because of its high yield, resistance to drought, leaf rust and berry disease.

Of course, Qianjie also buys a lot of iron card varieties of coffee beans, including iron pickup from Elida Manor in Pokuit, Panama, which is treated in the sun and boiled with V60 ~ (th) and V60 ~ (1) ~ (15). The entrance has obvious flavor of peach, raisin and orange, slightly fermented wine, sweet taste of sugar and caramel, taste like green tea, and high cleanliness.
