When it comes to coffee, we have to mention rose summer. In 2004, Emerald Manor used rose summer varieties to participate in the best Panama (BOP) competition and bid, and made the estate and rose summer varieties famous with excellent results and auction prices. In recent years, Rosa Rosa has been one of the most popular varieties in the world, with record prices at many famous coffee auctions, especially in Panama.

Coffee producing areas are mainly divided into Boquete, Volcan-Candela and Renacimiento. These producing areas are located around the country's three volcanoes: Volc á n Baru of Baru, El Valle of Erbaye and Le Yeguada of Rajaguada. The Emerald Manor is located in the Balu volcano mountains in the Pokuit producing area, at an altitude of 1400-1700 meters, with a higher elevation and a micro-climate brought by the special terrain. And in the Pokuit producing area, it is the famous emerald manor producing area.

Jadeite Manor

At first, the Panama Canal was built by the United States and controlled by the United States alone for some time. It was the construction of the Panama Canal that sent many American elites south at the end of the 20th century, and the Emerald Manor is a testament to this era. In 1964, Rudolph Peterson, an American banker, retired, moved to Panama and bought the emerald estate in Poquet. Later, he gave it to his son and grandchildren to take care of it. Later, children and grandchildren improved the techniques and standards of coffee cultivation, studied the effects of local microclimate on planting, picking and processing, and purchased advanced machines to process coffee. In addition, through different plots and harvest batches, batch cup test, we also found the rose variety, and became famous in BOP by virtue of the rose variety.

The rose varieties were originally collected from the coffee forests of Ethiopia in the 1930s and were sent to the Lyamungu Research Station in Tanzania, then brought to CATIE, Costa Rica in 1953, and distributed to Panama via CATIE in the 1960s.

Parcel division

At present, the Jade Manor now consists of four farms (manors): Ca ñ as Verdes, El Velo, Palmira and Jaramillo. Among the four farms, three farms, Jaramillo, Ca ñ as Verdes and El Velo, grow rose varieties, and each farm is subdivided into different plots.

Jaramillo is the discovery site of Rose Summer, named after the Jaramillo Mountains of Poquet. At present, the whole Haramillo has been subdivided into six plots for red mark production, namely: Mario (Mario), Noria (Ferris wheel), Reina (Queen), Bosque (forest), Buenos Aires (Buenos Aires), Caballeriza (stables) and Manantial (spring water).

Ca ñ as Verdes is located on the eastern hillside of Mount Baru, with a large span of 1500-2050 meters above sea level. The small plots where Cannes Vidis grows Rose Summer are Lino (flax), Coronado (coronation), Fundador (founder), Le ó n (Leon), Monta ñ a (peak), Trapiche (sugar), Jacinta (urn), Caba ñ a (cabin), Tumaco (Tumako), Nido (nest) and Colga (Colga). A total of 11.

El Velo is a new farm purchased in 2012 and has the highest average elevation. In addition to planting rose summer, it also grows Laurina (pointed Bourbon), Pacamara (Pacamara), Mocha and SL28 for long-term development and research. At present, the Veil Farm is divided into seven small plots: Guabo (handsome), Port ó n (gate), Durazno (peach), Mural (mural), Higo (fig), Buena Vista (Buena Vista) and guila (eagle).

The Palmira, located at a low altitude, mainly grows Kaduai varieties, and the farm has 30 hectares, so the area is also the office area of the Jade Manor and a processing plant for raw beans.

Brand division of Rose Xia
