Colombian Coffee

Colombia is a land, sea and preparation country located in the northern part of South America, connected with Venezuela, Brazil, Ecuador, Peru and Panama, bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Caribbean Sea to the north. The topography of Colombia is roughly divided into western mountains and eastern plains, mainly the Andes in the west and Orinoco and Amazon plains in the east.

Because it is located in the tropics, the climate varies according to the topography, the eastern plain and the Pacific coast belong to the tropical rain forest climate, while the mountains at 1000-2000 meters above sea level belong to the subtropical climate, and the northwest belongs to the savanna climate. Colombian coffee is mainly grown in the Andes, where the annual temperature is about 18 ℃ and the annual rainfall is 2000 to 3000 mm. And because it is located in the tropics, the mountain steps provide a diverse climate, making it a harvest season all year round. Colombia's high-altitude mountains, volcanic soil and different microclimates provide an excellent environment for coffee cultivation.

Huilan Huila producing area

Colombia has a number of coffee-growing areas, and basically around the Andes, due to different mountain topography and microclimate, so each region has a lot of differences in coffee flavor. At present, the more famous producing areas are Antioquia, Sattainder, Huila, Narino and so on.

Located in southern Colombia and the southern part of the Central Mountains, Whelan Province is made up of the central and eastern mountains of the Andes, mostly in the Magdalena Valley and is Colombia's most famous boutique coffee producing area. This area is a hilly land surrounded by mountains. Coffee is planted at an altitude of 1200-1800 meters, and the temperature is basically between 17 °C and 23 °C. High altitude, volcanic soil, rich water resources and unique climate make the coffee produced in this area pure, balanced and soft. Qianjie Coffee has a washed Colombian Cymbidium coffee bean, as an entry selection, with slightly sour, dark chocolate, nut, caramel flavor, sweet and sweet.

Demarcation line Manor Finca El Diviso

After the war broke out in Colombia in the 19th century, in order to revive the coffee industry, the government began to consolidate wasteland and divide it into small plots, which were sold to farmers at very low prices, allowing farmers to grow coffee and other crops. Since then, Colombia has been dominated by small coffee estates.

The dividing line manor is one of the relatively famous small estates, which has only 14 hectares and is located in the cymbidium producing area. The estate was founded by founder Jose in 1996 and is currently run by Nestor, the founder's grandson. Nestor is very keen on coffee cultivation and research, and continues to strive for excellence in coffee cultivation and processing, which also attracted Australian contestant Anthony, who used the dividing Line Manor's Hercules Coffee beans to participate in the 2022 World Coffee Competition WBC, and won the championship in one fell swoop, making the dividing Line Manor and Hippophae Coffee beans popular. At present, the manor mainly grows Kaddura, bourbon and other traditional varieties, but also adds new rare varieties such as Rose Summer, Pink Bourbon, Hizug, Castillo and so on.
