Most of South America has a tropical rainforest and savanna climate, warm and humid, with an average temperature of more than 20 ℃ and abundant rainfall across the continent, with about 70 per cent of the region receiving 1000 mm of annual rainfall. With the right climate, appropriate rainfall, high-altitude mountains and volcanic soil, the agricultural industry of the continent is developed, and coffee is grown in many countries, of which Brazil has the highest coffee production in the world. In addition, Colombia has become the third largest coffee producer in the world because of its unique topography and climate.

Colombia, located in the northwest of South America, is a land and sea country. The topography of the country is roughly divided into the western Andes and the eastern plains. Because the eastern part is mainly plain and the elevation is not high, coffee is grown in the western Andes. In Colombia, the Andes are mainly divided into the Eastern, Central and Western Cordillera Mountains, which are more than 3000 meters above sea level on average, and are full of volcanoes, which give fertile soil to volcanic ash. Coffee is grown along the highlands of these mountains.

In addition, Colombia is located in the tropics, the eastern plains and coastal areas have a tropical rain forest climate, and the northwest has a savanna climate, but the mountains with an elevation of 1000-2000 meters above sea level belong to a mountain subtropical climate, thanks to the diverse microclimate provided by the mountains, Colombia is a harvest season all year round, with coffee ripening in different periods.

Colombia has a vast territory and abundant resources, with 15 coffee producing areas divided by provinces. The main coffee producing areas are Cauca, Santander, Antioquia, Narino, Tolima and Huila.

Among them, the most well-known is the Huilan province (also known as Uylla, Huila), whose name comes from the region's well-known Huilan volcano, which is also the highest volcano in Colombia. this producing area is located in the southwest of Colombia, in the valley between the Eastern and Central Cordillera Mountains, the canyon gives it a good protection, making the climate mild. In addition, this is the Magdalena River Basin, the largest river in Colombia, which is rich in water resources and is an ideal area for growing coffee. There are many well-known estates in this area, such as the dividing line estate El Diviso and the oak estate El Rorble.

The Qianjie coffee rations bean series also includes coffee beans from Huilan, a well-known producing area of Colombia, which is selected in Kaddura and is washed with dark chocolate, nut and caramel flavor.

In recent years, Tolima province, located in the central and western part of Colombia, has come to the fore and is now the third largest coffee producing region in Colombia, accounting for 12% of Colombia's annual coffee production. The province of Tolima, which is slanted by the Central Cottrella Mountains and bounded by the Magdalena River to the east, is full of volcanoes, named after the nearby Tolima volcano, coffee is grown on hillsides with an average elevation of 1500 meters, and there are many famous coffee estates, such as Santa Ana and Montreal Manors, which appear year-round on the Columbia Excellence Cup COE list.
