When I have been concentrating for a long time/frequency, I will occasionally want to have a slightly simpler cooking. For example, there is no need to pay attention to the timing of water injection, and there is no need to control the water flow at all times to make coffee easily. Coincidentally, Qianjie found a flushing method that meets the above conditions yesterday! As long as we inject a fixed amount of water at a fixed time, we can easily brew a delicious cup of coffee.

Patrik has a unique and systematic understanding of coffee. Just like the brewing method shared by Qianjie today, although it is quite different from the traditional brewing method, the taste of coffee has a good performance and is very practical. Qianjie first introduces this brewing plan. It is very simple! We just need to split the injected water into two sections and inject it within a fixed time. However, this solution has one limitation-it needs to be used with a flat bottom/cake filter cup.

There are two reasons why you need to use a cake filter cup. The first reason is that because the bottom of the cake filter cup is a "flat ground", the distribution of coffee powder can be relatively uniform and there will be no high requirement for water flow control. At the same time, the powder bed will not be too thick, and the brewed coffee will have a high consistency! Secondly, because the flow rate of cake filter cups is generally slow, hot water can stay in the filter cups for more time. Then, since the hot water is divided into two sections and injected, the amount injected each time is not small. This combined with the slow flow rate can produce more immersion extractions, making the coffee taste more balanced.

Again, this method applies to all roasted coffee beans, so the choice of coffee beans can be freely chosen based on our own taste preferences. Brewing and sharing So the coffee beans used in this brewing of Qianjie are Qianjie Jade Manor·Washed Diamond Mountain in the Qianjie bean list. The brewing parameters are as follows:

Amount of powder used: 15g powder-to-water ratio: 1:16 Grinding degree: 90% sieving rate of No. 20 screen, grinding of fine sugar (relatively fine), boiling water temperature: 94°C Use filter cup: Origami (origami filter cup) The total amount of water to be injected is 240ml, because we need to divide it into two sections for injection equally, so the amount of water to each section is 120ml. So first, we inject 120ml of hot water in the first section! Use moderate water flow to inject from the middle, and then slowly wrap it from the inside to the outside.

After circling the outer ring, we keep injecting around the circle until the target water volume is all injected. In about 50 seconds, all the hot water in the filter cup will seep out, leaving a deep pothole. When the time reaches 1 minute, we can start the second stage of water injection. The amount of water injected in the second stage is also 120ml. This time, the injection starts from the middle, then goes around a large circle, and finally keeps injecting water around a large circle until the target amount of water is injected.

In about 1 minute and 20 seconds, we will fill the target amount of water, and then in about 2 and a half minutes, the coffee liquid in the filter cup will be completely filtered. Then we can remove the filter cup and end the extraction. Next is tasting time!
