Fifteen merchants at home and abroad have signed coffee trade contracts totaling 364 million yuan, including 257 million yuan for coffee beans and 107 million yuan for instant powder.

During the cultural festival, businessmen from Singapore, Italy and other countries as well as Shanghai and Sichuan visited Dehong for inspection and negotiation. At the International Coffee Business Forum held in the same period, experts from the Portuguese Coffee Rust Research Center introduced the cultivation and promotion of new coffee varieties, and the president of the Coffee and Tea Association of Thailand introduced the cultivation and consumption market analysis of coffee in Qin. Experts and scholars also exchanged views on how to give better play to the role of coffee cooperation organizations within the framework of the China-ASEAN Free Trade area.

Chen Xinxue, president of Yunnan Baoshan Coffee Chamber of Commerce, said that at present, the price of coffee in the international market is declining, the international coffee trade is weak, and the development of the domestic coffee consumption market is weak. Coffee, as an important part of characteristic agriculture on the Yunnan plateau, needs more policy support from the government. at the same time, coffee producers should pay more attention to improving the quality of growing coffee and improving the whole coffee industry chain on the basis of protecting the interests of coffee growers. It is reported that Yunnan Province has become the largest coffee bean production and export base in the country, with a planting area of more than 1.3 million mu, of which Pu'er City, Lincang City, Dehong Prefecture and Baoshan City are the four main producing areas.
