The more polite the customers in creative cafes, the cheaper the coffee is.

An Australia cafe in New South Wales has launched a new fee system to get customers used to polite language: the degree to which customers use polite language when ordering determines the price of coffee. The more polite customers are, the cheaper the coffee.
The owner of the cafe placed a unique billboard at the entrance of the restaurant, which read: When ordering, say "a cup of coffee" for $5, if you say "please give me a cup of coffee" for $4.50, and "good morning, please give me a cup of coffee" for only $4. This measure has only been implemented for two months, but the results are remarkable. Kev Chilver, the owner, and his wife said they were trying to bring back the importance of politeness and encourage customers to use polite language. Billboards have been popular with customers since they were put out, and they are actively changing their attitudes.
