Hunan barista industry enters professional development

The World Barista Championship (WBC) is an Olympic competition in the barista industry. Organized annually by the World Coffee Council (WCE), it aims to select the world's top baristas through competitions and promote the professional development of baristas by introducing the highest quality coffee. The annual WBC contest not only brings many outstanding baristas to the world, but also brings the focus of audiences from all over the world.

With the development of the coffee industry in recent years in the domestic scale, order, industrialization, the concept of a cup of coffee, unconsciously separated from the early years of instant products distributed inferior flavor. More young people who love coffee are beginning to invest in the huge world contained in a small coffee bean.

In the WBC competition in 2009, Hunan, where the coffee industry had not yet developed at that time, walked out of two Brista (baristas) for the first time. Jiang Jinyu and Luo Ling, baristas from Menjia Cafe in Changsha City, stood out in the competition in Central China and won the second and third place at one stroke. The curtain of WBC competition opened in Hunan from then on, and more baristas began to change from a simple "hobby" to a professional one.

In 2011, WBC competition for the first time set up Changsha Division, Hunan baristas began to have their own regional competition opportunities. In the four years since Changsha was established, more and more excellent professional Barista (barista) began to emerge in Hunan, and the coffee industry in Hunan has also developed better since WBC entered the competition. Annini Cafe barista Yuan Yuan, who signed up for this year's WBC competition, told reporters,"As a barista for two years, every time you touch the coffee machine, you will have a feeling of heart rate acceleration. If you want to describe this feeling, it is like a girl seeing a favorite boy. In this competition, I hope I can play hard and win the championship, like a more professional barista dream forward."
