The benefit of efficient and Water-saving Irrigation of Coffee in Mangjie Village, Menglian County, Yunnan Province
After the Mangjie coffee efficient water-saving irrigation demonstration project in Menglian County, Yunnan Province was completed and put into operation, it effectively covered an irrigated area of 800mu of coffee, increased fresh fruit output by 480000 kg, increased economic income by 960000 yuan, and increased average income per mu by 1200 yuan. It has effectively increased the income of the local people and is very popular. The project is located near the Mangjie Village Committee Ma Lishu villagers Group in the north of Menglian County, 12 kilometers away from Menglian County. The project adopts sprinkler irrigation water supply, which is composed of water lifting facilities, storage tanks and irrigation pipelines. Construction of the project started on January 10, 2012 and was completed on March 30, 2012. Mainly completed a pumping station, a reservoir, 36 kilometers of water distribution network, completed an investment of 1.2 million yuan, of which: 800000 yuan of county-level financial subsidies, enterprises raised 400000 yuan. The implementation of Mangjie Coffee efficient Water Saving Irrigation demonstration Project has opened up a new development direction for Menglian water conservancy construction and played a positive exemplary role for water conservancy to serve the industrial development.
