The British spend 188 days making coffee all their lives.
According to a survey launched by a British manufacturer of hot and cold drinking fountains, every Briton spends more than 188 days in the company pantry in his lifetime.
Research shows that every Briton spends 24 minutes a day making tea or coffee at work because they have to wait patiently for water to boil, wasting 188 days and 21 hours of their career.
The maker of the water fountain said it had observed that 40 per cent of Britons poured tea for colleagues twice a day. Only one in seven employees pours water for themselves. Less than 30% would choose to go outside to buy a drink.
