The first phase of the park covers an area of 92.4mu, with a planning and design volume of about 100000 square meters, with a total investment of 300 million yuan, which is expected to be completed and put into operation in 2017.

At present, Yunnan coffee planting area and output account for more than 99% of the country's total coffee area and output, and have become the country's largest coffee planting and export base. The hot area of Pu'er is rich in resources and is known as the golden zone of coffee cultivation in the world. Since the industrialization and large-scale cultivation began in 1988, the coffee industry has developed rapidly. By 2014, the planting area of coffee in the city had reached 757000 mu, with an output of 39900 tons and an output value of 1.2 billion yuan, of which agricultural output value was 780 million yuan, ranking first in Yunnan Province in terms of planting area, yield and output value.
