Us studies show that drinking coffee can reduce the risk of head and neck cancer

Drinking coffee regularly reduces the risk of head and neck cancer, according to a new US study.
Head and neck cancer includes oral cancer, nasal cancer, sinus cancer, salivary adenocarcinoma and lymphoma. Researchers at the University of Utah report in the latest issue of Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention that after analyzing nine studies provided by the International Federation of Head and Neck Cancer Epidemiology, they found that coffee drinkers were 39% less likely to develop oral and throat cancer than coffee drinkers. If you drink more than 4 cups of coffee a day, this effect will be more obvious.
The researchers explained that various chemicals such as antioxidants contained in coffee may be one of the reasons for its anti-cancer effect, but more in-depth research is needed to understand its specific anti-cancer mechanism.
Previous studies in the United States and Britain have shown that regular coffee drinking reduces the risk of prostate cancer, glioma and brain tumors.
