Pacific Coffee, the first coffee shop in mainland China, opened in Shanghai in April 2011. There are now 54 stores in the country, and the scale will be further expanded this year. According to the disclosure of Pacific Coffee, it has always attached equal importance to two business models in Hong Kong. in addition to chain coffee shops, there is also an enterprise coffee service department responsible for the sale of coffee beans and coffee machines, which belongs to the capsule coffee machines introduced into the mainland. The equipment, which brews coffee in capsules, chocolate or milk through simple steps, has already sold thousands of units in banks, hotels, apartments and other places in Hong Kong, and this B2B sales model will also be applied in the mainland.
This capsule machine, which sells for 2680 yuan, brings more than just one-time equipment sales to Pacific Coffee. According to reports, Pacific Coffee plans to launch nearly 20 kinds of capsules, including coffee and tea, and the first batch will be put on the market in July. These consumable products with a unit price of about 5.8 yuan will become the follow-up source of profit for Pacific Coffee.
