According to the person in charge of Pu'er Coffee Industry Federation, Pu'er City is the most suitable for growing coffee between 800m and 1600 meters above sea level. According to incomplete statistics, at present, the coffee planting area of Pu'er has increased to 425000 mu, and the number of farmers has reached more than 100000. "Last year, the output of commercial coffee rice reached 23400 tons, of which Nestl é acquired about 8000 tons."
