The award ceremony of "China Lincang Fine Coffee Bean demonstration Zone" was held in Kunming yesterday. The China Fruit Circulation Association awarded Lincang City the title of "China Lincang Fine Coffee Bean demonstration Zone" to support the development of Lincang boutique coffee bean planting and processing industry in order to become bigger and stronger.
Lincang Tropic of Cancer, located in the golden belt of world coffee production, has geographical and climatic conditions such as low latitude, high altitude, tropical and subtropical climate, abundant precipitation, acidic soil and frost-free area, which is very suitable for coffee cultivation. Last year, the planting area of coffee in the city reached 554200 mu, ranking second in Yunnan Province.
In the development of coffee industry, Lincang City, supported by three leading coffee enterprises, Lingfeng, Hougu and Longchang, adheres to standardized cultivation, scientific management, ecological development, standardized processing, promotion of variety diversification and planting diversity. According to the principle of "complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation" The two sides carry out omni-directional and in-depth cooperation in such aspects as "brand promotion and promotion of Lincang boutique coffee beans, formulation of production standards for boutique coffee beans, experimental research on boutique coffee beans, personnel training, promotion of quality certification system for boutique coffee beans, development of coffee market" and other aspects to promote the expansion and strengthening of Lincang boutique coffee bean planting and processing industry.
