At 9: 00 a.m. on June 21, the 2012 China Dragon Boat Open (Chengmai Station) opened. Media reporters from both sides of the strait were invited as guests, and many reporters took out their cameras to take pictures. Chiang Chien-Cheng, a reporter from Taiwan's Zhonghua Daily, introduced the Tainan dragon boat race to reporters in Hainan. He said: "We have a race every year, held in the canal, which used to start during the day, and then changed to night, which is as lively as the dragon boat race in Hainan." Then he introduced some famous snacks and zongzi in Taiwan. When talking about the Dragon Boat Festival, he asked reporters in Hainan about the different customs and cultures of the Dragon Boat Festival in the two places.

Subsequently, media reporters from both sides of the strait came to the Fushan Coffee Culture Center in Chengmai County to learn about the history and culture of local coffee, while tasting Fushan coffee while talking about the coffee culture of the two places. When visiting the Taiwan style town, the reporters listened to the positioning and development of the Taiwan style town, affirmed and appreciated the prospect and development of the project, paid attention to and looked forward to its development, and finally visited the Hainan Ecological Software Park.
