Taiwan's coffee brewer Wei Ruying broke into the top six of the 2014 WCE World Cup coffee competition in Rimini, Italy, and achieved good results for the first time, Taiwan's Central News Agency reported. On the afternoon of the 12th, Wei Ruying will compete for the throne with contestants from Norway, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Greece and Italy.

When Ms. Knudsen, the "godmother of coffee", was invited to visit Taiwan a few days ago, Wei Ruying hand-made Alishan Zhuowu Mountain coffee for Knudsen to taste, which was praised by Knudsen.

In addition, Wu Zelin, who represented Taiwan, stopped in the semi-finals of the Coffee Masters event. Zhou Wenpei, vice chairman of the Taiwan Coffee Association, said that this is the best record for Taiwanese athletes in the event.

The World Cup Coffee Competition will be held in Rimini, Italy from the 9th to 12th. Three players from Taiwan, Wei Ruying, Wu Zelin and Lai Yuquan, will take part in the competition this year.
