Last Updated: 2024/11/14, According to records, there were 2067 coffee plantations in Cuba in 1833.

The establishment of the earliest seven coffee plantation sites, including Raglan Piedra, Elkovre, El Salvador and Nisto Perez, are listed as World Cultural Heritage. The seven coffee plantations were reclaimed in the 19th century on virgin land in the foothills of Maestra (postcard in figure 17) in the southeastern provinces of Santiago and Guantanamo.

The origin of coffee in Cuba:

The best coffee in Cuba (Cuba) is Turquino or ExtraTurquino. Tujino is a coffee grade, not a place name, just like BlueMountain. This coffee has a pure flavor and moderate granules, and because it is grown at lower elevations, its acidity is lower than that of many coffees grown in Central America.

The characteristics of Cuban coffee:

Flavor: full of particles, full of intoxicating tobacco flavor

Recommended baking method: medium to deep, excellent mixing

★★: good

The market for Cuban coffee:

If not affected by the political climate, there is no doubt that Cuba will become an important supplier of coffee to the United States and Japan.
