Lesson 5 of TBC's preparation: practice schedule
When I entered the competition in the first year, because I didn't have a deep understanding of the competition, I spent most of my preparation time thinking about what equipment I wanted to buy XD. On the contrary, I looked at the brewing part with a normal mind. I always felt that I could not cook it as usual, but it was not until after the competition this year that I deeply realized that it was not enough to make a good cup of coffee to stand out in the competition. It is also necessary to be able to make good coffee "all the time", so in the course of practice, there are actually a lot of things that need to be planned and strengthened.
So why emphasize the practice schedule, because I think it is most efficient to focus on solving one problem at a time, if you do not set a schedule for yourself, it is easy to let the precious practice time slip away, and everything has been done but nothing has been done.
Generally speaking, there are several important time points before the competition, the first is before the registration deadline, the second is to arrange a test machine, and then there is a month before the game and a week before the game.
I believe that many contestants have already decided whether to participate in the competition before the announcement of the registration. I suggest that we can start practicing the basic skills as soon as possible. The so-called basic skills refer to how you cook a coffee bean in a short time, and whether you can steadily reproduce the taste you want to perform after adjustment, which is also related to whether the preparation can proceed smoothly.
Then, after confirming the registration, you can start to draw up the theme of the competition, prepare the equipment and draw up the speech, and then try to run the process. You may find that if you put the simple cooking action into the whole process of the performance, the movement will not start smoothly, so you have to think about how to make the whole performance process very smooth.
In addition, you have to communicate with the baker, and repeatedly try and modify the beans used in the competition. if the basic skills start to practice early, it will produce results, because very often there is a problem between the player and the baker. That is, the beans can not boil the desired taste, but do not know whether it is boiled or roasted or there is a problem with the selection of beans, if the players' basic skills are very good. Then it can make the formation of the game beans more smoothly.
Then, before the assembly arranges the test machine, the bean service of the game must be baked and taken to the scene to be actually cooked. I believe that there are absolutely a small number of players who are ready to use the machine, so it is very important to let the beans actually be boiled with the machine. The contestants had better be able to find out whether the beans need to be adjusted and whether the cooking techniques can be successfully applied to the machine within that hour of trial time. Even the approximate grinding scale and so on can be recorded.
A month before the competition, I think everything in all directions must be ready, including all the equipment, and the closer you get to the game, the more nervous you will be, and a lot of miscellaneous things will always start to emerge in the last month, so the last month is at most fine-tuning, do not let yourself to the last month to significantly adjust the performance process, cooking methods … This is very dangerous, and besides practice, you should also take good care of your physical condition. If you are too tired, you may collapse your XD before the game, and adjust yourself to be refreshed during the game as much as possible.
A week before the game, you have to make a general confirmation, and then don't change anything. At this time, you should be ready to play tomorrow, because in the last week, you may not be able to rent a practice venue, or you may suddenly find that it takes time to prepare something that is missing. So don't make any progress for the last week at the beginning, keep yourself as flexible as possible, just keep practicing properly.

TBC Preparation Tip #1.1: Understanding Sensory Scores
Whether you sign up or not, you must first understand that TBC and WBC are both a game. Of course, as long as it is a game, there will be rules to understand the rules. It is something that a player and everyone in the team should strive to do. Knowing the rules of the game can make more effective use of resources. This is especially important for players who are not full-time preparations for the game. The TBC score table is basically the flip of the WBC score table.

TBC preparation experience 4: equipment preparation
The equipment required for the competition seems to be very little, but the actual preparation is often more than I thought at the beginning. In my experience, I will make a list of the equipment I need in the process of purchasing and preparing. Of course, the list can be divided into the preliminary competition and the semi-finals. Listing the list has an advantage, it can also be used as your check list before the competition. And I made it clear.
