While you were busy opening a coffee shop, he was quietly inventing the coffee pot! Some new inventions promote the development of coffee
He opened a coffee shop and became a champion and master of coffee, but few people thought about how to improve the way coffee was made. Maybe one day when the world uses Designed in China's coffee pot, we will be considered a real coffee culture country!
My name is will Pryce. Maybe you haven't heard of me. It took me two years to invent a new coffee product: ice drop King, during which time I also learned a lot about making coffee utensils, which I will share with you below.
Designing BingDi King is a very difficult process, and you need to learn a lot of knowledge constantly. It is mainly divided into four steps, but fortunately I knew it from the very beginning, which virtually contributed to my success.
01 thinking about "improvement"
How do you say "improvement"? It requires us to constantly look for ways to reduce consumption and improve efficiency, and it should be the unshirkable responsibility of all of us. When each of us is talking about "improvement", a daily coffee pot may lead to the next revolution, maybe you built it, maybe it's me.
The core of improvement is curiosity, which is often the source of a new product. Take a look at the following questions and can you guess what progress they have brought?
Why is there no household coffee pot that can make coffee?
Why do we throw away so many takeout cups every day?
How can I simplify the steps and improve the accuracy of each step in the coffee brewing process?
In the past, these were incredible, but now Ailop, Keep Cup and Acaia say they are just carry-on toys for ordinary coffee lovers.
Those who bring new products to life may not be the first to ask questions, but they are the first to find a solution. It's exciting to think that "innovation" will be a part of our coffee career, and more and more people will think about ways to improve it.
02 protect your thoughts
When you have a revolutionary idea, it may really change the fate of coffee forever.
Listen to me, if you really want to realize your idea, it is a crazy and exciting journey, and it takes a lot of time and money to invest. For me, this is the most exciting and worthwhile thing I have ever done.
As long as you keep learning, you will be able to achieve it. So, how can we put "wishful thinking" into practice?
The first problem is "how to keep your ideas from being stolen by others?" for example, how to make sure that BAT doesn't copy you? This is a real problem. People with more resources are always thinking about how to profit from good ideas.
Does that sound simple? Telling others what you think is risky, but it is also one of the best ways to test whether it is feasible or not. Experts and celebrities in the field can always find a lot of problems that you didn't think of, and even judge whether your ideas have potential. For me, they provide me with another perspective so that I can constantly improve my creativity.
In addition, there are two ways to protect your thoughts. First, if your idea is worth protecting, you can apply for a patent first. Second, if it's someone you can't trust, you can ask them to sign a confidentiality agreement before sharing.
03 face the reality
When you are ready to make a product, ask yourself these questions:
Is there a similar product that belongs to potential competitors?
What makes customers choose your product over someone else's?
What's the difference between you?
Is it interesting? Will users buy it?
How much are users willing to pay for it?
How much will it cost to manufacture, pack and transport?
Where is this product made?
What is your wholesale price?
Do you sell to wholesalers or directly to consumers?
How will you bring the product to market?
These are tough questions, and you can't answer them yourself, and you have to find the right answer to ensure the course. Your understanding of these issues is critical because you need to coordinate resources at an early stage.
04 practice
First, evaluate all your resources, including people, and identify your strengths and weaknesses, the time and money it takes. Sometimes it's more appropriate to hire someone with relevant skills, instead of doing everything yourself.
When you're done with this, you can do it. The most important thing to develop a product is to have a "prototype" or "concept map". A preliminary model or functional machine will show your ideas and how the machine works. It doesn't need to be perfect, our original model is made up of old Shima engines, slices and other materials found at home. Bad as it may seem, it will make investors and industry insiders excited about what you are doing, and then they will be more active in helping you improve it.
On the one hand, you can pull investment to complete the first round of production and sales. On the other hand, you can also choose crowdfunding sites to raise money.
Does that sound impossible? Anything is possible. Bringing a new product and idea to life is an exciting and meaningful process. So, if you are ready to meet the challenge, I will be the first to support you in making your idea a reality.
Good luck. I hope this article will inspire every coffee maker to start thinking about new ways to extract coffee.

How to visually judge whether an espresso is good or bad? Do you really know how to drink coffee
The perfect espresso has hazelnut foam, close to dark brown, with reddish dots, and may have consistent light stripes. The texture is compact with tiny bubbles. There must be no obvious bubbles, no white spots, and no cracks in the coffee liquid below. The common bad factors of espresso are close to gray: they may be used too much or too little.

Stella came all the way from the first guests of the small garden to become a staff member, but the boss and his wife did not show a single photo because they were too busy and kept a low profile, which was an embarrassing thing for the interview. Stella even hopes that he doesn't show up too much, and it's important to discuss the significance of cafes. However, it was in such a conversation that I saw that this room was small.
