The World Barista (barista) Competition (World Barista Championship, WBC), an excellent international coffee competition hosted by the World Coffee Association (WCE) every year. The purpose of the competition is to introduce high-quality coffee and promote the professionalization of baristas. [1] the World Coffee Association (WCE) is registered by the European Professional Coffee Association and the American Special Coffee Association in Dublin, Ireland. [2]
The Barista (barista) Competition (World Barista Championship, WBC), an excellent international coffee competition hosted by the World Coffee Association (WCE) every year. The purpose of the competition is to introduce high-quality coffee and promote the professionalization of baristas. The annual barista contest attracts spectators from all over the world to push the global local and regional competitions to the best part.
Every year, champion representatives from more than 50 countries will make four espresso, four cappuccinos, and four specialty drinks at a strict standard in the (wonderful) 15 minutes of music.
WCE judges from around the world will judge (rate) the taste, cleanliness, creativity, skills and overall performance of each work. Popular specialty drinks present their unique taste and experience to the judges through baristas to display their imagination and rich knowledge of coffee.
The 12 contestants who won from the first round will advance to the semi-finals, the 6 contestants who won the semi-finals will advance to the finals, and the winner of the final will become the champion of the (annual) World Barista (barista) Competition! [1]
The China trial of the World baristas Competition is authorized by the World barista Competition (WBC). It is the only coffee making competition in China with professional standards, system operation and international certification, and enjoys the reputation of "Coffee Olympics". It aims to discover and guide coffee trends, spread coffee culture, and provide a platform for professional baristas around the world to perform, compete and communicate.
Since the competition was introduced to China by Shanghai Bohua International Exhibition Co., Ltd. in 2003, it focuses on the production and technology of coffee, and has been committed to carrying forward the concept and cause of Chinese coffee culture. The event has always been widely praised and supported by Chinese coffee industry companies, and has become the cradle for the growth of a new generation of baristas in China. The China trial of the World Barista Competition proudly enters its 13th year. In 2015, 20 + districts will be set up nationwide for the selection of contestants, covering the major central cities of Chinese mainland in East China, North China, South China and Southwest China. The selected excellent baristas will demonstrate their skills at the HOTELEXShanghai (Shanghai International Hotel supplies Fair) from March 30 to April 2, 2015. Compete for the only place to represent China to participate in the World Barista Competition (WBC) overseas.
