Taiwan Coffee Farm in Hainan: from Taiwan, rooted in Hainan
Qionghai, June 23 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- Today, media reporters from the third cross-strait media trip to Hainan visited the antique coffee farm invested by Taiwan businessmen. As soon as we arrived at the gate of the farm, a sign "from Taiwan, rooted in Hainan" came into view. From here, we can easily see that its owner, Lin Wen-ding, is firmly determined to work hard in the mainland.
Lin Wending, a Taiwanese businessman who used to be the deputy magistrate of Tainan County, came to Hainan in 2002 to invest in the establishment of an antique coffee farm. He told reporters that he resigned nine years ago and began to grow coffee in Hainan. On the one hand, he was tired of intrigue in Taiwan's political arena. More importantly, he saw the vigorous development of the mainland's economy and broad prospects for cross-strait agricultural exchanges and cooperation. He said that the reason why he planted nearly 2,000 mu of coffee in Hainan is to prove to the world that high-quality coffee can also be grown on the mainland. And he wants to make the most authentic mainland coffee and promote coffee with Chinese culture all over the world.
Lin Wending said that the establishment of his coffee farm has received strong support from governments at all levels in Hainan, and he is honored to be hired as the only Taiwan business consultant of the Hainan Provincial CPPCC. He said that although he is only an ordinary farmer now, he feels that he has a heavy responsibility, and he will do his best to build a bridge for agricultural exchanges and cooperation between Qiongtai and Taiwan. He said that Qiong and Taiwan are geographically close and close to each other, and have broad prospects for agricultural cooperation. In recent years, he has received many Taiwan business delegations from Taiwan and other provinces on the mainland, and he will truthfully introduce to them the current situation of the development of agriculture in Hainan, explain to them the broad prospects for the development of agriculture in Hainan, and encourage them to invest and set up business in Hainan.
