Coffee quality Society (CQI) and Yunnan Coffee Trading Center (YCE) formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement
At the invitation of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center Co., Ltd., Mr. DavidRoche, Executive Director of CQI (Coffee Quality Institute), arrived in Pu'er on the morning of November 7, 2015 to communicate and exchange with Lu Han, Director of Tea and Coffee Industry Bureau, Liu Biao, Deputy Director of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center, Cao Ronggen, Chairman of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center, and Shu Yang, Executive Deputy General Manager, on the development strategy of Yunnan Pu'er boutique coffee.
Director Lu Han extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to Mr. David Roche for his visit to Pu'er and briefed him on the cultivation and production of Pu'er coffee in recent years. At the same time, Mr. David Roche gave a detailed introduction to the current situation of cultivation and production in the world's major coffee producing areas.
Shu Yang, Executive Deputy General Manager of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center, introduced to Mr. David Roche the concept of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center Co., Ltd., the service function, operation mode and future development direction of Yunnan Fine Coffee processing Park. The two sides were interested in the prospect of cooperation and reached a consensus on overall planning and strategic cooperation in training talents for Southeast Asian coffee producing areas.
After the meeting, Mr. David Roche, accompanied by the leader of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center Co., Ltd., visited the new office building of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center and took a group photo.
Accompanied by Cao Ronggen, Chairman of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center, and Shu Yang, Executive Deputy General Manager of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center, Mr. David Roche visited the Qixiang Coffee processing Plant and Everman Nakata Coffee Manor on November 8th, and gave on-site technical guidance on its planting and processing.
On the morning of November 9th, the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement between CQI and Yunnan Coffee Trading Center was held in the conference room on the fourth floor of the Tea and Coffee Industry Bureau. Liu Biao, deputy director of Pu'er Tea and Coffee Industry Bureau, Cao Ronggen, chairman of Yunnan Coffee Trading Center, Mr. DavidRoche, executive director of CQI, Mr. Samuel, head of Torch, and all YCE staff attended the signing ceremony.
This contract marks that Yunnan Coffee Trading Center has officially become the first ICP (domestic partner) of CQI in China. CQI will design and implement relevant training programs with its technical services and CoffeeCorps ™volunteer program, so as to provide support for Yunnan Coffee Trading Center in its efforts to improve coffee quality, increase the origin of high-quality coffee and "farm identification". Provide professional knowledge related to coffee production, processing and domestic consumption, provide a fair, just and value-creating public platform in line with the world, strengthen the domestic coffee consumption market, and enhance the value of Yunnan coffee industry.
With the support of CQI, Yunnan Coffee Trading Center will provide training and qualification for coffee professionals for Yunnan coffee enterprises and the domestic coffee industry, so that coffee farmers can pay attention to coffee quality, improve their coffee quality, and then increase their income and improve their living standards. Yunnan Coffee Trading Center and CQI will jointly coordinate the training, re-examination, calibration and renewal of Q Grader (coffee appraisers), jointly promote and market Yunnan coffee, make use of domestic regional platforms, continuously improve the quality of Yunnan coffee, develop towards high-quality coffee, and make a positive contribution to Yunnan boutique coffee out of Yunnan to the world.
