Paulig Muki Innovates Smart Coffee Cups Powered by Hot Coffee Energy Conversion Screens
Relevant electronic components are added to the Paulig Muki base, and an electronic ink display screen is added to the cup body.
How does it work?
There is an TEG electronic component at the bottom of the Paulig Muki cup. When the hot coffee is poured in, the heat is transferred to the TEG and converted into electricity to drive the e-ink screen. When the temperature sensor detects a rise in the temperature of the cup body, the e-ink display will automatically display the photo.
Every time the Paulig Muki cup is filled with hot coffee, a brand new picture appears on the e-ink display on the cup, and when it is filled with hot coffee again, a different picture appears.
Smart coffee cup with electronic ink screen: can display pattern
Users can change the content of the photos at will, and sweet photos with loved ones or inspirational photos are good materials. In addition, the Paulig Muki coffee cup has a low-power Bluetooth module that can be connected to a smartphone, and users can change photos or upload them to social networks through matching apps on their phones. In addition, other related settings for this coffee cup can also be done through smart apps.
This smart coffee cup is the joint work of coffee equipment companies and marketing companies, and is still in the testing stage. For any new smart device, it has to go through a series of rigorous tests before it can be sold on the market. If you are also interested in this Smart Coffee Mug, you can apply for an internal test of the product on the Paulig website, which has been tested by 2500 people.
If all goes well, the Smart Coffee Mug is expected to go on sale in Finland next year, in 2015. The timing of the launch in other countries and regions is not yet known.
