Microsoft's idea is part of a broader plan to reinvent itself as a technology leader. The site has an open area similar to the Apple Store, but the merchandise is not for sale. The venue is equipped with chairs, tables and sofas, and provides a variety of Windows electronic devices for everyone.

This is a cafe in the heart of Berlin where you can connect to Microsoft tablets, X-Box or Windows phones, or drink in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The digital cafe, which officially opened two weeks ago in the German capital, is just one part of the project.

Microsoft also owns the top floor of the downtown building on Unter den Linden Avenue, not far from the Brandenburg Gate, where it hopes to house its new central office space for Microsoft Europe. The conference hall is also the focal point of the project, serving as an accelerator for the company's headquarters, a carefully considered office center designed to promote technological innovation.

After acquiring Nokia in September, Microsoft launched its new smartphone and tablet Lumia 2520 in October and is now focused on winning more market share. Windows phones, which sell slightly less than Android and are closer to iOS by operating system, are currently third in smartphone sales, but are rising sharply.

Windows 8, the latest operating system, is designed for touch screen devices, giving consumers a better experience and different enjoyment. The Microsoft Cafe seemed like the perfect place to experience the new system. Microsoft is hoping to recapture lost markets.
