Pu'er City will build the largest Coffee Trading Center in China
Recently, Yunnan Coffee Trading Center, the largest coffee trading center in China, officially signed a contract in Pu'er City. The project involves transaction mode, quality system construction, product processing, etc., and strives to build Yunnan Coffee Trading Center into an international coffee trading platform and industrial service platform based in Yunnan, facing the whole country and radiating Asia in three to five years' time.
According to the satellite, secretary of the Pu'er Municipal CPC Committee, Yunnan has a coffee planting area of more than 1.8 million mu and an output of more than 90,000 tons, making it the largest coffee planting and export base in the country. In recent years, Pu'er regards the coffee industry as the dominant backbone industry, which has effectively promoted the large-scale, intensive and industrial development of the coffee industry. As more than 90% of the coffee produced in Yunnan is exported to Europe, North America and other regions as raw materials, the degree of dependence on the international market is too high. The establishment of a Yunnan coffee trading center can stabilize the fluctuation of the coffee market and enhance the ability to resist risks. grasp the pricing power of Yunnan coffee and promote the stable development of Yunnan coffee industry.
