The export of Pu'er coffee beans hit a record high in the first half of the year.
Since last year, Pu 'er Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has further strengthened daily supervision according to the international market and the quality of coffee beans exported in the past, bringing all coffee export enterprises into the scope of supervision. Inspection and quarantine cadres regularly go to enterprises to help enterprises establish quality management systems. From planting, management, picking, processing, storage to packaging, we operate in strict accordance with relevant control systems, and timely rectify problems found, so as to ensure the quality of coffee products. Puer Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau also makes full use of its own advantages to actively provide relevant trade information to coffee enterprises, so as to further integrate product trade with the international market and avoid risks to the greatest extent. For example, inspection and quarantine introduces the current progress of joining the International Fair Trade Organization to coffee export enterprises. A coffee export enterprise in Pu 'er City has obtained the Fair Trade Certificate issued by the International Fair Trade Organization, which is the first coffee enterprise in China to pass the Fair Trade Certification. The first batch of 19.2 tons of green coffee beans of this enterprise shall be exported to EU (Belgium) after passing the inspection by Pu 'er Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. In addition to the transaction specified in the contract, according to the fair trade protection price, the export enterprise shall receive a refund of RMB 55,000 yuan. Pu 'er City of Yunnan Province strengthened daily supervision and actively expanded trading channels. Boosted by coffee trading center, coffee beans exported through inspection and quarantine of Pu' er Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau reached 22313.72 tons, an increase of 4667.62 tons compared with 17646.1 tons in the same period last year, with a year-on-year increase of 26.5%, setting a record high for export.
