In June 2013, the National Standards Committee approved Pu'er City to build a national coffee planting comprehensive standardization demonstration zone. In November 2016, the national coffee planting comprehensive standardization demonstration zone project, undertaken by Yunnan Hongji Coffee Industry Co., Ltd., successfully passed the examination and acceptance of the National Standards Committee. Through the implementation of the project, a comprehensive coffee community management system has been established, which integrates coffee planting, production management, pest control, initial processing process and storage conditions, and the standard system of "Technical Specification for the production of small seed Coffee" has been established. the quality of raw coffee in the demonstration base is improved, and the demonstration effect is obvious.

The fourth is to strengthen the cultivation and creation of famous brands. In view of the fact that there are few well-known brands of coffee in the city, enterprises are actively encouraged to integrate resources, do large-scale, and concentrate their efforts on building international and domestic well-known brands. In recent years, the quality supervision department has been actively cultivating and guiding Pu'er coffee production enterprises to participate in the evaluation of Yunnan famous brand products and Pu'er famous brand products. Up to now, two coffee production enterprises in the city have won the Yunnan famous brand title, and one coffee production enterprise has won the Pu'er famous brand title.
