Merchants who sell coffee claiming to be "top" are fined 200 yuan to consumers.

According to a report on Xiamen Network, Mr. Wang complained to the market supervision department that merchants used illegal advertising terms such as "top" in their advertisements, demanding compensation in accordance with relevant regulations. Under the mediation of Jimei Market Supervision and Management Office, the merchant compensated Mr. Wang for 200 yuan.
Mr. Wang used his account on March 16 this year to buy a packet of Taiwan-imported blue mountain flavor charcoal-roasted coffee for 54 yuan on a website. In the process of buying goods, he found that the words "extreme mellow, top flavor" were used in the advertising campaign on the store's web page, in which "top" and other extreme words were used. It violates the Advertising Law that "absolute terms such as national, highest and best terms are not allowed to be used". Mr. Wang believes that businesses are false propaganda, fraudulently mislead consumers, caused losses to themselves, and demand compensation in accordance with the Advertising Law.
After receiving the complaint, the law enforcement personnel of Jimei Market Supervision and Management Office immediately verified the merchant's website. After investigation, what Mr. Wang said is true, the shop website advertising "extremely mellow, top flavor", there is illegal use of absolute language, law enforcement personnel educated the person in charge of the business on the spot, and patiently summoned both parties to mediate, finally, the businessman realized the mistake, the two sides reached an agreement, and the merchant agreed to refund 200 yuan to Mr. Wang.
