On the morning of April 15, the 2017 Vocational skills Competition for College students in Yunnan Province opened ceremoniously in the Tropical crops College of Yunnan Agricultural University. Wu Bozhi, secretary of the party committee of Yunnan Agricultural University, and Sheng Jun, president, attended. Wu Bozhi, secretary of the party committee, announced the opening of the 2017 Yunnan higher Vocational School students' Vocational skills Competition, the Chinese Tea skills Competition and the Coffee brewing skills Competition in the Tropical crops College of Yunnan Agricultural University. President Sheng Jun made an ebullient speech. Leaders of the Tropical crops College and relevant departments, heads of 16 cooperative enterprises, instructors of 17 colleges and universities and 79 contestants attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Song Guomin, dean of the Tropical crops College.

President Sheng Jun extended a warm welcome to the guests and contestants, hoping that the contestants would pass the two business cards of Pu'er City-tea and coffee-out of Yunnan and to all parts of the country.

At the opening ceremony, Yang Zhiqi, chairman of Lincang Lingfeng Coffee Industry Development Co., Ltd., made a speech on the experience and achievements of school-enterprise cooperation, and representatives of referees and contestants took an oath.

It is reported that the Chinese Tea skills Competition has a total of 52 contestants from 17 colleges and universities, including West Yunnan normal University of Science and Technology. They will compete through four links: designated tea art competition, tea art tea culture basic theory, tea table innovation competition, and tea party competition.

There are 27 contestants from 7 colleges and universities, including Yuxi normal University, in the Coffee Brewing skills Competition. The competition takes "delicious coffee" as the main line, covering the creative design of the evaluation table, console and work table management, coffee making, coffee taste, service, professional theory, on-site analysis and so on.

After two days of fierce competition, the competition of "Chinese Tea Art" and "Coffee brewing" came to a successful end. The purpose of the skill contest is to promote learning, teaching and construction by competition, to promote reform by competition, to improve the quality of personnel training, to deepen the reform of education and teaching in colleges and universities, and to guide colleges and universities in the province to pay attention to the development trend of tea and coffee industry. adapt to the needs of national industrial structure adjustment and industrial development for tea and coffee applied technical personnel, and enhance the employment competitiveness of skilled talents.
