The Sijiao Forest Farm, which belongs to the Taichung Peasants Association, has become a good habitat for fireflies after more than 30 years of recuperation. Five years ago, the park was transformed into a coffee manor. In line with the emergence of adults in early summer, this year, it specially held an one-month "drinking coffee. Enjoy the fun" activities, invite tourists to taste hand-made coffee, night visit the "firefly" river beauty.

Sijiao Forest Farm, located in the northeast suburb of Dongshi District, covers an area of 175 hectares. since the middle of April every year, millions of fireflies have appeared in batches since the middle of April every year. After nightfall, a little bit of fluorescence shines on Cunninghamia lanceolata, Maple incense, Xiao Nan, Acacia and osmanthus bamboo. Nearly 7,000 coffee trees have been planted in the forest since 104, and the name "Firefly Coffee" has spread widely.

Zhang Mingzheng, director of the promotion department of the Taichung Farmers' Association, said that Sijiao Forest Farm has the largest number of black-winged fireflies and yellow fireflies, ranking among the top five in Taiwan, and the best viewing period lasts from mid-April to mid-May. "drinking coffee." the activity enters the park at 4 p.m. and the tour includes a guided tour of the coffee growing area, hand coffee tasting and firefly explanation tour, with a fee of 300 yuan per person and a daily limit of 60 people.

When the first group of fireflies entered the park on the 15th, tourists saw little green light flying in the woods and grass, and there were many admirations, but some people almost got lost looking for the firefly area. The Municipal Peasants' Association said that there is no lighting in the park, and the firefly-watching route has been planned in advance to avoid rough roads, and tourists are urged not to leave the team.

Lianhuachi, Yuchi Township, Nantou County, which has the laudatory name of "Taiwan Ecological Noah's Ark", has started this year. The 15th and 16th are the second weekly holiday for the event, with more than 1,000 tourists pouring in.
