Myanmar exports coffee seeds to China every year and will export more than 20 tons more this year than in previous years, according to a report in the Voice Daily The Voice Daily on May 27, according to information obtained by the economic and trade department.

Last year (2016), more than 80 tons of coffee seeds were exported to China from the border areas, mainly from the Pyin Oo Lwin region. In 2017, more than 100 tons of coffee seeds will be collected and exported in Binwulun, Naunghkio, Mogok and Toungoo, the senior official continued.
The price of coffee exported this year is between 2000 yuan (kyat) and 5000 yuan per pound (the same below). Due to the different quality, the price varies greatly, this is the news from the coffee growers.
