According to a report in Myanmar's "Myanmar Mirror" on July 12, coffee produced by Minde and Gan Baili in Chin State (south) has recently held promotion meetings for coffee lovers in Britain and Switzerland. Myanmar embassies and consulates in relevant countries participated in the promotion meeting.

Two Swiss owners hosted presentations in the UK and Switzerland on June 21 and July 6 respectively. Chinbang coffee is named after Chinritan, a beautiful rare bird of the world. The idea was to give coffee a reputation like a chinridan bird. Switzerland agreed to buy tons of coffee in September.

A Swiss official from the International Coffee Organization (ICO) said that when Myanmar coffee exports internationally, it is like introducing Southeast Asian culture to the world and introducing the delicious coffee produced in Qinshan. Chin State has a good climate, clean land free from pollution, altitude and so on are conducive to the growth of high-quality coffee, so the planting area should be expanded.

According to one coffee farmer, the government plans to plant 200,000 acres of high-quality coffee annually between 2018 and 2030. At present, the largest coffee cultivation area in Myanmar is about 3,548,500 acres planted in Magu, Bin Oo Lun, Kachin State, Chin State and Iwakan in Shan State, with acquisitions from the United States, Australia, Japan, China (Taipei) and Switzerland.
