Give up a well-paid job in a well-known company, start a business from Shanghai Huihan, and open a marathon-themed cafe at his alma mater. A few days ago, Li Xinru, a 2017 graduate majoring in property management from Wuhan City Vocational College, won the "Entrepreneurship Award" according to the results of the selection of outstanding university graduates of the third "Yangtze River students" held by the Provincial Department of Education.

In 2016, Li Xinru worked as an intern in Shanghai Vanke property Service Co., Ltd. because of her excellent performance, she was retained by the company, and her salary was very good. Shortly after his job, he heard that his alma mater had set up a new Entrepreneurship College, which could provide financial and technical support for students to start a business. After much thought, last year, in the face of the opposition of his family, he resigned and went back to Han to start a business.

After returning to her alma mater, Li Xinru met Zhang Wenhua, a classmate who also wanted to start a business. Zhang Wenhua is a horse racing enthusiast with a track first aid certificate. Under the guidance of their entrepreneurial mentor, the two decided to open a marathon-themed cafe. While providing drinks such as coffee, they use their contacts to regularly invite groups from all over the country to come to Han for exchanges, and hold public welfare training lectures to promote first aid knowledge.

It was very hard at the beginning of the business. Li Xinru recalled that during that time, he and Zhang Wenhua got up at 5 o'clock every morning and took a two-hour bus to Hankou to learn coffee grinding skills. It was often late at night when they returned to school. On the eve of the Spring Festival, all the students on campus were on holiday, and the canteens and off-campus restaurants were also closed. they ate instant noodles and drank plain boiled water until New Year's Eve went home for the Spring Festival.

Shortly after the Spring Festival this year, their cafe opened on the first floor of the School of Entrepreneurship, their alma mater, and the business is getting better and better. "in the future, we want to open branches to all colleges and universities in Wuhan and even all over the country." Li Xinru said.
