It is reported that in the past, the vast majority of domestic coffee beans were acquired by foreign giants, and the prices were also determined by foreign giants. In the recent coffee harvest and storage season, the purchase price of Chongqing Coffee Trading Center was higher than that of foreign giants. This not only brings benefits to coffee growers, but more importantly, it provides growers with price discovery, establishes a market reference price, and breaks the previous pattern in which the purchase price of domestic coffee beans is dominated by foreign giants. According to the person in charge of the trading center, it is expected that by 2019, Chongqing Coffee Trading Center will become the largest spot coffee trading market in Asia, and by 2021, it will build an integrated coffee operation platform with international influence.
