After looking forward to it all summer, Starbucks ice cream finally came to China!

Although it is still a few days away, we are about to usher in the Autumn Equinox (September 23), stepping into autumn in the astronomical sense. However, in the hot sun at noon, we still drink cold drinks from time to time.
Stepping on the tail of summer, Starbucks finally brought coffee ice cream from the "lab" to China, taking the lead in testing the waters in 19 stores in four cities (see the end of the article for a complete list of stores).
The coffee and ice cream introduced into China is classified as "Affogato". Starbucks first experimented with the product at the Seattle Coffee Roaster in June 2016, only to find that even in winter, the series was among the top five most popular products in the store.

In view of this, in February this year, Starbucks officially promoted the product to some Zhenxuan stores in the United States. Unexpectedly, only a few months later, this popular product has also arrived in China.
"Affogato" means "inundated" in Italian, and the Italian dessert with that name is made by pouring espresso on vanilla ice cream balls or "drowning" ice cream with coffee. There is both the strong caffeine impact of espresso and the sweetness and coolness of ice cream.

There are four flavors of ice cream on the market: Affogato, Cold Brew Malt, Cold Brew Float and Nitro Cold Brew Float.
However, perhaps the biggest drawback of this series is that it is expensive. The prices of several products range from 45 to 58 yuan. I wonder if you will consider a final consumption upgrade at the end of the summer.
