Hu Lu, deputy secretary general of the Yunnan Coffee Industry Association, believes that the "bridgehead" of China's coffee market is in Yunnan because Yunnan's hot areas cover an area of 81100 square kilometers, of which 5 million mu are suitable for growing coffee, plus slopes below 25 degrees. The planting area is more than 6 million mu. At present, the planting area and output of coffee in Yunnan account for more than 98% of the country. Due to climate and altitude, the places that can grow high-quality coffee in China are basically concentrated in Yunnan. From an emotional point of view, if foreign coffee enterprises want to seize the Chinese coffee market, their coffee products have to have a "Chinese flavor", so they actively enter Yunnan and start with the coffee planting base; in terms of raw material transportation and procurement costs, international coffee companies also hope to obtain some of the raw materials they need to open up the Chinese coffee market from Yunnan; of course, Yunnan small grain coffee has the best quality in the world. Yunnan is bound to become the "mountain" on the highland of China's coffee "battlefield".
