They can inhibit the activity of drug metabolic enzymes in the liver and cause poisoning due to increased blood concentration. Poisoning deaths have been reported in the United Kingdom.

Oral contraceptive. The vast majority of oral contraceptive can also interfere with caffeine metabolism, so that caffeine stay in the body will be about 4 hours longer than usual, may cause discomfort of the body. And caffeine can reduce or even invalidate the efficacy.

Anti-osteoporosis drugs. Caffeine can reduce the absorption of calcium and cause osteoporosis.
